Morpheus8 combines the microneedling method with radio frequency technology for superior results in skin rejuvenation, targeted facial contouring, and precision body sculpting. For most patients, undergoing Morpheus8 treatment is a generally relaxed and pain-free experience. Actual treatment duration should take about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on which areas of the face and/or body are being treated.  

Because Morpheus8 is a non-surgical procedure, the recovery process should be quite short. You can immediately go back to work and continue any low-impact daily activities right after treatment if you wish, though you may want to wait a day or 2 for your skin to settle down. Your skin may feel warmer, tighter, and a little bit sore after the procedure. Any residual redness or swelling should go away within 2 to 3 days. As part of your post-treatment care, you should use gentle skin care products to clean and moisturize your skin. Make sure to wear non-irritating sunscreen on your skin when you are outdoors or under direct sunlight. 

Be sure to avoid makeup, strenuous physical exercise, and skin care products with retinoids and exfoliants for the next 48 hours. It may be advisable to refrain from using such skin care products for at least several days depending on how your skin feels. 

Morpheus8 is an exceedingly safe procedure with mostly temporary side effects. Post-treatment symptoms may include mild swelling, minor bruising, redness, peeling, scabbing, and perhaps some oozing on the skin. These should clear up within a week and shouldn’t be a cause for concern. More serious side effects may occur in very rare cases, such as infection, hyperpigmentation, and bleeding. 

For most patients, noticeable results will start to appear in a few days. The skin will continue to improve months after the initial treatment, since it takes up to 6 months for collagen to be completely regenerated. Results can be maintained for up to 5 years with healthy lifestyle choices and a good skin care regimen. 

Most patients will require 1 to 3 treatments, scheduled between 4 to 6 weeks apart, to get the results they desire. However, more treatments may be needed for the improvement of acne scars, enlarged pores, and stretch marks.
