Meet Dr. Guthrie
TOP-RATED FACIAL PLASTIC SURGEON
Dr. Ashley Guthrie is an Ivy-league educated, double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who focuses on bringing out the natural beauty in all of her patients.
Dr. Guthrie grew up in northern New Jersey, just outside of Manhattan. She completed her undergraduate education at the
University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Neuroscience. This was followed by medical school at the
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, Michigan. She graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the esteemed
Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
She completed her five-year residency in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery at the
New York Eye & Ear Infirmary and
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. During that time she had extensive training in all aspects of surgery and clinical care at some of the finest medical institutions in the world.
Throughout her residency training, her passion for facial plastic surgery grew stronger. She went on to pursue even more specialized training via a prestigious and highly coveted
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Foundation Fellowship with the world-renowned Dr. Daniel Rousso. At the
Rousso Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Guthrie further refined her skills and developed the vision for Guthrie
Facial Plastic Surgery.
As a classically trained pianist from the age of 6, Dr. Guthrie has a natural inclination towards the creative arts. Not only does her history of being a musician give her excellent surgical dexterity, but it gives her an artistic touch and vision to her
work, as well.
