FaceTite uses radio frequency energy to gently heat and melt the fat under the skin tissue, while stimulating the body’s production of collagen and elastin. This is accomplished through the insertion of a very fine cannula into the skin, which precisely delivers the radio frequency energy to the underlying tissues, thereby rejuvenating the skin from within.

FaceTite can effectively treat the following concerns:

Treatment is performed with local anesthesia to ensure a comfortable, gentle, and pain-free experience. The actual procedure should take about one hour to complete, but the entire visit may take about 3 to 4 hours of your time.

Once your FaceTite treatment is completed, you will be given a compression garment to wear. Please follow the doctor's instructions and wear the compression garment exactly as directed. We strongly advise that you wear the garment for at least 3 days to relieve post-treatment swelling. 

Recovery takes about 1 to 2 days, with most patients coming back to work after 2 days. 

Please keep the treated areas clean and dry. For the first week after treatment, you should only use gentle skin care products and refrain from engaging in intense physical activity. Though you can use makeup after the first 24 hours, we advise staying make-up free (if possible) during the first week to avoid prolonging your recovery. You should also wear sunscreen whenever you’re outdoors and take any prescribed antibiotics as directed. 

FaceTite is one of the safest cosmetic procedures available today. There is usually some swelling and discomfort after the procedure, but this usually subsides after a few days. Some bruising in the treated area may occur, but again, this should resolve itself within a week or a few days. Rare but more complicated side effects include infection, scarring, nerve damage, and burns. These side effects can be mostly avoided and successfully minimized by going to a reputable and experienced provider, and by following post-care instructions as directed. 

Most patients report seeing improvement after just a few days. The skin in the treated areas should be noticeably smoother and tighter after the first week and should continue to smoothen and tighten over the next several months. Results can last for several years and may last even longer if you: 

• Maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen
• Practice good skin care habits 
• Wear sunscreen regularly when outdoors
• Stop smoking
• Stay hydrated
• Undergo occasional maintenance cosmetic treatments 

Generally, most patients will need 1 to 3 treatments to achieve their desired results.
